Non Paying Bidder: tooty0_0
This bidder won my auction for a toy hammock on 25 May 2003. I sent her my usual email:
|
Hi Nicola Congratulations and thank you for your winning
bid on the toy
hammock. I don't mind how you pay
as long as it's not by cash through the post.
My preferred method is direct bank transfer
as it is the cheapest and safest method.
If you would like to pay this way I will
email my bank details straight to you.
Otherwise PayPal is the quickest method.
If you pay by PayPal you must add 4% of the total including
P&P towards their charges.
This can be added in the postal charges part
of the form you fill in when you pay. We
are also quite happy to accept cheques or postal
orders. Postal orders should be made payable to: Mr Wayne Punter
Please
make sure you include your name, address and
the item you bid on with any correspondence
and payment. Please email me with your details and how you will be paying
within three days of the end of auction.
Payment should be received within 10 days.
I will leave feedback as soon as payment is received
and cleared. I would greatly appreciate
it if you could also leave feedback once you receive and
have inspected your toy hammock. I would also greatly appreciate
it if you could just send me a little email to
confirm that the hammock has
been delivered. Once again thank you for your purchase. Best

On Thursday 29 May 2003 she replied to me with the following message:
| Hi Wayne-the cheque's in the post! look forward to getting my hammock! |
Short and sweet and I looked forward to her cheque arriving. Sadly no cheque. I sent her a further two reminders and filed an NPB (Non Paying Bidder) report on 11 June 2003 hoping the generated reminder would sort things out but no reply at all. Today (Monday 23 June 2003) she gets a grand entry into my negative feedback page, a place in my blocked bidders list, a negative in her feedback and a warning from Ebay when I claim my FVF's (Final Value Fees).
